Other Details

We're giving away an iPod loaded with harp music! Every chapter member who attends Harp Day will receive a chance to win, and you'll receive an additional chance to win for each new member you bring who joins our chapter at Harp Day!

Member Showcase
Chapter members with harp-related items to sell are invited to showcase your wares at Harp Day. You must email in advance to reserve space.

Student Recital
AHS student recitals are open to students of all levels, ages, and harp types. We request teacher sponsorship to ensure the performances are serious in nature--beginning skill level is fine if your teacher gives their approval. Memory is not a requirement, however obviously performers should be comfortable playing their piece from beginning to end. There is no length restriction (unless it becomes necessary), however only one piece per student. Please email by March 1 (or sooner) the names of your students who will be performing, their piece, and the length of the piece. Student ensembles are also welcome to perform.

Harp Regulation by Liza Jensen
Our presenter Liza Jensen will also be available before, during, and after harp day to perform regulations on lever and pedal harps by appointment. Visit her site to learn more about her services and email her directly to schedule an appointment.
